Blendability

After many years on the market, BioNutria has gained much experience with the use of our products – including the miscibility with plant protection products and the miscibility of fertilisers.

We find that almost all mixtures blend well and that there are no problems using the products, as long as the directions are followed.

See also our mixing tests below. This shows which mixtures with plant protection products we have documentation for. We also know from practice that far more mixtures than those mentioned here are problem-free, but there is, of course, a ceiling on what can be done.

The following is good advice in this regard:

• Always follow our instructions for mixing order (BioMangan + BioBor always requires a pH reduction)

• Never blend more than two plant protection agents

• Make a test mixture in a glass or bucket if in doubt

• Have plenty of water in the sprayer before blending

• Blend while mixing and spray immediately after blending

• Create a fixed routine for maintenance and cleaning of the sprayer and its filters

When working with liquid fertilisers, remember that they have a larger particle diameter than some plant protection products have. Therefore, some users experience that they have to clean filters and nozzles more often than usual. Especially if the manufacturer-supplied sprayer is equipped with very fine filters.

It is our experience that a fixed routine for maintenance and cleaning the sprayer and its filters nips such problems in the bud. This also prevents residues of plant protection products from building up in hoses and on the inside of the tank. It is quite often the case that such residues are knocked loose and cause problems and crop damage – even when no micronutrient or other liquid fertilisers have been used in the sprayer.

Note: When mixing BioCrop, BioMangan and BioBor, it is important to:

1. Pour water into the sprayer (stirring starts)
2. Add desired amount of BioCrop product
3. Add desired amount of BioMangan product
4. Add desired amount of BioNutria Bor 150
